JMUonline courses are delivered through a
variety of learning platforms with the flexibility to meet your individual
needs and learning style. Two primary e-learning options are available: Blackboard
and Centra.
Blackboard: Internet or
Web-based courses. These courses are mainly asynchronous and can be
accessed at any time using a computer connected to the Internet. Students typically participate in discussion forums, submit
assignments or take tests and quizzes online, access grades online,
and can download course documents. Click
here to learn more about Blackboard.
CENTRA: Courses taught with CENTRA
feature live audio conferencing, the synchronized sharing of presentation
materials, web pages, and collaborative workspaces across the Web. Click here to
learn more about Centra.
